Dr. Jessie Stewart, MD is an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at UCLA. Dr. Stewart graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University. She then went on to receive her MD degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2011, with a concentration in bioengineering. After an internship year at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, she went on to complete her residency training in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Duke University Hospital. Prior to joining UCLA, Dr. Stewart was an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Stewart's clinical interests include women's health interventions, vascular malformations, and venous disease, including varicose veins. Dr. Stewart has academic interests in clinical and translational research in interventional radiology, and is active in global health efforts, working with radiologists in Kenya to support educational programs since 2014, and serving as director of UCLA Interventional Radiology Global Health Initiatives.
