    Shiro Miyayama graduated from Tottori University School of Medicine, Yonago, Japan at 1986 and started his residency in Radiology at Department of Radiology Kanazawa University Hospital, Kanazawa, Japan. He moved to Fukui-ken Saiseikai Hospital, Fukui, Japan in 1995 and has been Chief Director of Department of Diagnostic Radiology since 2009. Dr. Miyayama is a delegate of Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology and Japan Radiological Society and vice secretary of The Japanese Society for Transcatheter Hepatic Arterial Embolization. He is also an assistant editor of Japanese Journal of Radiology and senior editor of Interventional Radiology.
