Jeff Geschwind, MD, is currently the Director of Oncology at USA Clinics Group; the Medical Director for Oncology and Image-Guided Therapy at NAMSA, a contract research organization based in New York City; the Medical Director of Imaging at Imaging Endpoints, the largest Cancer Imaging CRO in the world, and a consultant for Cage Pharma, a company he founded in 2009 which is focused on developing cancer drugs targeting tumor metabolism, specifically glycolysis.
Dr. Geschwind earned his Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine, completed his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California at San Francisco as a Resident-Scholar sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and his fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is the former Director of the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Chairman of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Geschwind has published 300 scientific manuscripts (Google Scholar H-Index 75), wrote the first textbook dedicated to Interventional Oncology, co-edited the textbook of reference in Interventional Radiology (Abram’s Angiography), and was the lead or co-investigator on more than 50 clinical trials testing innovative treatments for patients with liver cancer. Dr. Geschwind is recognized internationally as an expert and key opinion leader in liver cancer.
Dr. Geschwind has received numerous national and international awards throughout his career. In 2012, he was inducted into the Academy of Radiology Research from the Radiology Society of North America, the highest recognition for radiologists.
Dr. Geschwind was visiting professor and has given numerous lectures and keynote speeches including named lectures at various prestigious institutions and has also been recognized as a Top Doctor by US News and World Report.
