    Lindsay Machan MD, FSIR is an interventional radiologist at the Vancouver Hospital, a CIRSE Distinguished Fellow, SIR Fellow and an Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Radiology Honorary Member. He has co-edited the last 3 editions of Kandarpa’s Handbook of Interventional Radiologic Procedures. He has invented multiple devices no one else uses. In 2006 he shared the Manning Innovation Principle Award for the development of the paclitaxel eluting stent.
